hii deee hoo! i'm back in action yet again. so much to blog about, i shall contain myself to shorten it =) this is going to be a post full of words, because uploading pics are a waste of time. as you know, i have just returned from spore yesterday. much excitement over results coming out TODAY. honestly, i'm ECSTATIC JOYOUS over my not-so-great results. it was higher than what i expected, and yes. i get to go Monash! wooo phee doo! as long as i'm happie..! wheee! i woke up at eight in the morn with much enthusiast and boy, the internet was exploding. and the page couldnt load. i nearly went insane! luckily, i managed to call Aussie and i was yeaying so loud! i think the caller got freaaaaaked out. ha ha. congrats to everyone! SAM is officially over and out!~
lets get back to singapura. i took this bus company called AeroLine. its a double decker bus, pretty cool. passengers sit upstairs, and a lounge downstairs. the chairs are huge, and they serve you a meal. its not that bad actually. the next day, i met up with loo ee von as she was there earlier. we walked for ten hours at orchard. let me inform you about faye intuition i have. on that day itself, Guess had its first day of sale! wheee! and as usual, the stuff were dirt cheap. so we bought. bought and bought. last season's clothes. but who cares. we didnt get much at Takashimaya but we got most of our stuff at Scotts.
day two was an outing to Suntec City and Marina Square (you get down at City Hall). this time, mum bought a lot of Guesses as there were a LOT of nicey stuff. she was coming up lame questions like.. whats the name of ths top? I said 'Guess'. she says 'yaa..guess la... what brand?'. I said 'Guess'. she says 'guess laa.. what brand?'. i was so irritated. sheesh.
third day.. met E Lyn and Ke Chia. they wanted to go Suntec, so i went again. we went to Vivo City (the new shopping complex) later that day. and Roxanna is gonna love that place. Vivo has Spain brands like Zara that we dont have it in Msia like Pull and Bear, Desigual and yada yada. clothes were pretty cool. when we were at Pull and Bear, i saw Jien (from Disney Buzz-my old crush). I was like 'elyn elyn elyn... jien jien jien!'. her face turned tomato red! ha ha. it was so hilarious. i also met the Singapore Idol winner, name is John i reckon. and some sgpore actress.
forth day, i stayed at home. behaved myself. slept till three in the afternoon.
fifth day, attacked orchard yet again. it was Mambo time! i think i splurged the most at Mambo cause things were pretty much going for 50 and 70 percent off. their mini skirts were hard to say no to. and they had sweaters, tops, surf pants... such niceness. since Gap was cheaper in sgpore, i finally bought Gap. MNG had sales. and mind you, it was such a big sale. they needed security guards all over. and you actually have to line up to get in. its crazy. clothes were lots to pick from. since i'm not mng material. mother bought almost the whole shop. she was holding nine tops comprising of blouses, spags and yada. she asked 'is nine a lot?'. i replied 'yes'. so she bought EIGHT. what a difference. hmph.
sixth day, went to Tampines Mall. had PastaMania, cheaper nicer version of Itallianies. managed to get billabong thongs that msia dont have! hmph. ha ha. went for Midnight Shopping at Bugis Junction.
seventh day, went to Vivo with mummy. i finally bought tops from realitee (topshop). close two eyes and buy la.
eight day, went to Bugis street. wanted to get a pair of flat shoes. and they were out of sizes. darnn! they were only 19.90 sing dollars and they looked like topshoppies. gah. my stupid big feet drives me bonkers.
ninth day, last shopping at Parkway. i was a good girl yet again. only bought a top. giggles.
tenth day was a bye-bye day. we didnt get taxed this time. thankfully. we smuggled twenty packs of timtams made in Aussie from sgpore successfully! hooray! by the way, timtams sold here tastes horrible! those who are leaving to Aussie must taste their Timtams! two thumbs up*
i was watching Girls Out Loud in sgpore (a series) with Xiaxue in it. i wasnt too fond of her getting paid for blogging and all. and her love for pink and all that, ha ha. but i realised.. the series was pretty funny. and yeah, she deserves to get paid. and the series was about two girls who are totally against her and all that. one takes nude pics and the other signed a petition to ban her from Orchard. i was like sheesh. whats your problem? they didnt like things she posted on her blog and all. i mean blogging is talking about what you enjoy, if you dont like it, dont read it. as simple as that. i reckon they were. sour grapes. ha ha ha. too bad i cant catch the serieses anymore. boo hoo.
i'm given the opportunity to plan for You! Beautiful Women for 2008 (Girl Conference) in Perth when i go aussie. thanks to Ps Sandra. i'm pumped for it!
