mushi again! yes, I returned from singapore in one whole piece. it was a nice enjoyable shop-till-you-drop dead typo trip!
first day when I arrived (sunday), I didn't do much except staying at my auntie's house watching tele. second day, I met up with Amanda and Sarah at Heeren (Orchard Road). all of us marched through out orchard road and particularly me, went NUTS in GUESS.we had a nicey time. so much to see, so little time. on the third day, we went to Citylink Mall and Suntec City. me and Amanda was approached by stalkers several times. (Amanda, everytime I go CityHall.. I get the same question for eight days! stalkers la..heh heh). but all was good. yet again, GUESS in Suntec City was overpowered by three girls. ha ha. because they had something on that night, me and mum went back to Takashimaya in Orchard. we shopped till 12 midnight that night. I fell sick that very night with fever flu and sore throat.
not giving up, I went back and took two pills. woke up at ten and continued my quest in Bugis with Manda and Sarah. nothing much to shop about. later, these girls were going home to msia already. so mum insisted I went back home and rest... and I obeyed.. =) I didn't go out on Thursday either, stayed at my aunt's house. (eat sleep watch tv). btw, their tele is filled with nice programmes unlike our tv channels here... on Friday, I went to Marina Square! thanks to elyn! that place is huge, reminds me of Charleston in Aust. girls..their ZARA is a four shop lot! I was like a girl in a candy shop. I wouldn't say thier products are cheaper but there is more variety though (exchange rate 2.3). me and mum spent a lot in Esprit. a lot lot. like mum could get six chops for some reward card thing. like what they have it here? you spend 100ringgit you get one chop. its the same there too. mum bought so many clothes for herself! she lost herself.. ha ha! and for the second time, we shopped till 12 midnight at Marina Square and Raffles City.
on saturday, I went to Tampines Mall. I bought some accesories here and there. for all that go to Singapore, you must must must try Pasta Mania in Tampines Mall. its like Itallianies here, a bit cheaper instead. their toasted bruschetta is ssssssssssssssooooooooo scrumptous! typing it makes my saliva drool.. later that night, we returned earlier cause I had a dance thing to go to at FAD in Toa Payoh. people from broadway demonstrated the dance for our selection for the comp end of this year. dance choreography is either ciara or pcd. I chose PCD. we have to preform two songs.
and yes, either both I choose must be presented to Wade Robson, with which if I get chosen. will get a contract to dance in Broadway. much experience to gain in this...
sunday! shop shop shop shop shop. went to Orchard. at night we went to Parkway..nothing much to buy there. can't really remember what I did that day...
Monday was the day I had to salute goodbye to the beloved shopping complexes! it was a sad moment (sob sob...). three people going to singapore with four bags? and we return with......... 11 bags!!!!!!! ha ha ha. we had excess baggage and the stupid officer wanna fine us 120dollars! mum was so pissed. she was like no money no money. that officer was like I don't care you go get it somewhere. cheap people's money. podah...
yesterday (wed), we went to mid valley to meet my auntie who just returned from shanghai. we had mdm kwan's. and shopped a little. I was devastated to see the Cortex Nike Shoes! I bought it for 240ringgit thinking they don't have it here. and guess what? they sell it here for 199ringgit! gah.... so angry!!
today. I'm in college trying to do physics. as you can read, I'm happily blogging..
I want to thank God for something which kept me worrying the whole trip in singapore. I thank God for giving me a second chance.. who could imagine what would have happened. Lord, there is none like You.
